📞 Telephone voice assistant "Camille"

Nature and transparency. When you call 04 12 12 06 66, you may be greeted by "Camille", a voice assistant based on artificial intelligence, set up by the company Pabiran for the Night 4 Camping Car site. Camille is not a natural person: she tells you so at the start of the call and confirms it if you ask, in your language. You can ask to be called back by a member of the team at any time.

Recording and transcription. To handle your request and improve the service, the call may be automatically recorded and transcribed, and a summary may be generated.

Data processed during a call:

• your telephone number, your name if you provide it, a callback number if you dictate it, the purpose of your call, and where applicable your 4-digit access code;
• the audio recording of the call, its transcription and its summary;
• technical data: date, time and duration of the call.

Purposes. To answer your questions (rates, access, services), take a message and call you back, ensure the proper operation and safety of the site, and improve service quality.

Legal basis (GDPR, art. 6). The operator's legitimate interest in responding to visitors' requests and ensuring the proper operation of the site; performance of measures relating to your stay when your call concerns it.

Retention period. The information linked to your message (number, name, purpose, summary, transcription, recording link) is automatically deleted after 15 days from our internal tool. The raw audio recording is kept by our technical provider according to its own retention policy, then deleted.

SMS. At your request or as a follow-up to a call, Camille can send you an SMS (directions, rates, website link). The sender is "PABIRAN", send-only: you cannot reply to this SMS.

Voice assistant providers. Vapi (assistant orchestration), OpenAI (language model), Deepgram (speech recognition), ElevenLabs (voice synthesis), Telnyx (telephony and SMS), Supabase (message storage), Vercel (internal tool hosting). Some of these providers are located outside the European Union (notably in the United States); transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). They do not use your data for advertising purposes and do not reuse it to train their models.

⚖️ Transparency — European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AI Act)

In accordance with the transparency requirements applicable to AI systems that interact with people, we clearly inform you that "Camille" (telephone voice assistant) and the online chat assistant are artificial intelligence systems. Their artificial nature is indicated to you at the very start of each interaction.

These assistants are used for information and customer support. They do not make any automated decisions producing legal effects concerning you, and human intervention (the site team) remains possible at any time, in particular via a callback request or on 07 60 22 92 18.

🔑 Exercising your rights over your data

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

1. Data collected

1.1. How the chat works

Your messages are used solely to answer your questions (prices, electricity, water, weather, restaurants, etc.). They are not linked to a civil identity.

1.2. Audience measurement (only if you accept)

We record anonymised data to improve the service:

• page viewed and timestamp,
• browser/device (e.g. Chrome, mobile),
• anonymous technical identifier stored locally (localStorage),
• approximate country (truncated/anonymised IP),
• any messages (also anonymised) useful for improvement.

No full IP, no precise geolocation, no third-party advertising cookies.

2. Legal basis

GDPR — art. 6: your consent for audience measurement. Without explicit agreement, no measurement is recorded. You can accept, refuse, or manage your preferences at any time.

3. Purpose

Improving the service: understanding visitor numbers, peak times, frequently asked questions, and the clarity of the information.

No targeted advertising. No reselling of data.

4. Retention period

The anonymised statistics are kept in an internal Google Sheet for a maximum period of 12 months, then archived or deleted.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

6. Subcontractors

• Google Apps Script / Google Sheets: hosting of the anonymised statistics (Google Workspace compliance).
• OpenAI: generation of the chat responses in real time (no re-training, no marketing use).
