Plug in your motorhome without tripping the breaker
Choose the aire's hookup post, tick your appliances, and see live what you can run at the same time. Plus a clear list of the kit to plug in anywhere. 🔌
🔌 What can I plug into the hookup?
Set the hookup's amperage, then switch on your appliances. If the gauge turns red, it would trip the breaker: you'll need to switch one off.
🧰 The kit to plug in anywhere
With this small kit, you can plug in at almost any aire or campsite hookup post, and even a standard wall socket.
25 m CEE extension lead
H07RN-F 2,5 mm² cable with blue CEE plugs (P17). 25 m covers almost every hookup post.
Adapter set
CEE ↔ household socket: to plug in anywhere (aire hookup, campsite, garage, standard socket).
Polarity tester
A mini plug that checks in 2 s that the hookup isn't reversed. A must-have abroad.
Cable reel (unroll it!)
Handy for storage, but ALWAYS unroll it completely: a coiled cable heats up and can melt.
✅ Plug in safely
A cable left coiled on its reel heats up and can melt. Unroll it completely, even for just 2 metres.
On some hookup posts (and often abroad), live and neutral are reversed. A polarity tester spots it in 2 seconds.
Kettle + heating at the same time = a guaranteed trip on a small hookup. Heat one, then the other.
Raise the plugs off the ground, avoid puddles, and only use equipment rated for outdoor use (IP44 minimum).
Check the hookup's amperage (often written on it). The lower it is, the fewer things you can run at the same time.
Unplug at the hookup post first, then coil up the extension lead neatly while it's dry. Your kit will last for years.

Blue Mediterranean, mindful travelling
A seaside aire is a place of freedom, but also a place to protect. Even on holiday, a few simple gestures can have a real impact on our environment… and sometimes on your wallet too.
Enjoy without wasting
Water and energy are precious, especially near the Mediterranean coast. Here, everyone uses only what they need.
Consumption that adapts to you
Each pitch has its own charging point. You activate your socket, manage your consumption and only pay for what you actually use.
Travel lighter
Consuming just enough isn't going without: it's avoiding the unnecessary, preserving resources and fully enjoying the essentials.
One gesture multiplied by thousands of travellers
When an aire welcomes travellers all year round, small habits can make a big difference.
"Nature already puts on the show: it's simply up to us to take care of it."
